Things are not looking up for the South African Men’s cricket team as they recorded their third defeat in as many games at the World Cup in England and Wales. Yesterday the Proteas faced off against India at the Rose Bowl, the SA Team won the toss and elected to bat first but, their efforts were not enough as they only managed to put 227/9 on the scoreboard. Things were looking ok for the men from SA as India was not scoring big runs at the start but they soon caught their target in the 47th over.
South Africa will need to win all 6 remaining matches if they want to go through to the next round.
At the moment New Zealand is leading the table with a maximum 4 points from 2 games. West Indies and Australia still have a game in hand so all could change.
